"Post-COP-22: What Governance Can the Nexus Water-Energy-Food Have?" 

 

 

Placed under the aegis of the Minister of Energy and Water, César Abi Khalil, the forum was organized from the 27th to the 29th of March 2017 at Le Royal Hotel in Dbayh, in the presence of the Minister, the Director General of Hydraulic and Electrical Resources at the Ministry, Fadi Comair, Honorary President of the World Water Council, Loïc Fauchon, Former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Angel Moratinos, French Senator Olivier Cadic, representing the French living aborad, the President of the Institute for Economic Prospects of the Mediterranean World (Ipemed), Jean-Louis Guigou, a representative of the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon, Christina Lassen, President of the Association banks, Joseph Torbey and several other personalities.

Lebanese and European experts have been working on the issues related to the exploitation of water resources in the context of the 6th edition of Water Week with a view to streamlining water management.
